In late 2007 S.J.Abed General Enterprises LTD went into a joint venture with Al Sulaimi Group, in the Sultanate of Oman, under the new entity of S J Abed Al Sulaimi Catering Group LLC. We have set up our office in Muscat. Current Contracts are with the following clients:

In 2008, we were awarded by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) a multi-million dollar contract to build, own and operate new Permanent Accommodation for Contractors' (PAC) facilities in the Sultanate of Oman's interior oilfields at Marmul 'A' and Lekhwair. The long-term contracts will run until 2044 and the contract value is in excess of RO. 35 million ($91 million).
In early 2009, S J Abed Al Sulaimi was awarded 2 catering and facility management contracts for Oman Oryx Trading and Contracting Company LLC. The services include camp management, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance of workers' camps, at both Marmul and Lekhwair areas. The Marmul contract is for 570 workers, while Lekhwair contract is for 550 workers.
In early 2010, we were awarded a catering and facility management contract with Petrofac International E&C Oman Limited in Kauther for the Kauther Depletion Compression (KDC) project. The scope of work includes catering, housekeeping, laundry services, camp management, and maintenance of the camp. These services are for up to 360 personnel including 50 PDO staff. We have also supplied and installed all the kitchen, mess hall, bakery and laundry equipment.

S J Abed Al Sulaimi is proud to announce that it is a PDO approved catering contractor, OPAL registered and is a HACCP certified company. The Company currently employs over 200 personnel, and has established bases in the North and South of the Sultanate of Oman.
